Tatala ECBC Mission Point
Praise the Lord for He opened another mission point for ECBC at Tatala, Binangonan, Rizal. The Bible study started in February and the reception of the people hungry for the word of God is encouraging and is already bearing fruits. Every Thursday the ECBC evangelistic team led by Rev. Danny Galvez conducts Bible studies at Tatala. We are praying that the mission point, through God's grace, will become another church. This is all for God's glory!

Project 40%
The church through ate Myra Del Rosario, Sunday School Director, launched project 40% last January 13, 2008. Project 40% is a Bible reading program which was aimed at promoting Bible reading to the congregation. Bible reading schedules was distributed and participants were asked to have accountablitiy partners to remind them about the program.
There was a powerpoint presentation on the necessity of Bible reading for the spiritual growth of the individual as well as for the strengthening of the church.
Why 40% The program was aiming at a more realisitc goal but the church beleives that with the power of the Holy Spirit the realization of this goal will surpass expectations.
Ate Myra stressed that this is not a Sunday School Department Program but the church's program as discussed in the church planning meeting.

ECBC Visits Doulos
ECBC Sunday School teachers visited the floating bookstore M/V Doulos on December 8, 2007. The teachers, mostly from the children’s department, were given a tour by the crew of the ship. After the tour they then went to the bookstore to look for Sunday school materials. The publicity for the ship’s docking at Manila Bay was, unfortunately, overshadowed by the Hotel Peninsula take over led by Senator Trillanes.
